Booth Elementary teachers and students recently hosted their First Annual Reader's Theater Night. Reader's Theater provides students an opportunity to showcase their reading talents in front of an audience as they build fluency skills and self confidence. Each kindergarten through fourth grade class presented its own play. In all, Booth had over 300 parents and friends attend this interactive event.
Enthusiastic students were excited to perform for their parents. The parents were astonished at the reading capability of even the young kindergartners. Each performance concluded with a roar of applause and complimentary refreshments in each classroom. The night was a great success!
